Canterbury Watches is located in Canterbury shopping village, sharing the premises with Canterbury Clocks.
"My Horological training began at the University of Central England, and I graduated as the UK's top Horology student in my final year, with the BHI Bronze Medal. I also successfully completed the WOSTEP swiss training course and was awarded a Higher National Diploma in Horology.
During and after university I worked in a small watch restoration workshop in Derbyshire. In London I worked for Jaeger leCoultre and IWC, where I gained factory training on their watches and Atmos Clocks.
Moving to Australia in 2003, I had the opportuanity to work with the Rolex Australia team for 5 years in their super workshop in Melbourne. During this time at Rolex I also completed the specialist Complicated Watch and Restoration Course at WOSTEP in Neuchatel, Switzerland."
Rory is a member of the British Horological Institute (BHI) and Watch and Clockmakers of Australia (WCA).
